～Meihua Lake scenery～

     Meihua Lake Scenic Area belongs to De'an Village and is located in Meihua Community. It is a natural water storage lake. The old name is "Dapi", which is one of the eighteen victories in Lanyang, "Jianhu Moon".
     Looking down from the Sanqing temple, the arc resembles five-petal plum blossoms. When the former President Jiang Jing Guo visited the countryside, he named it "Plum Blossom Lake" because the lake was shaped like five-petal plum blossoms. The lake is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and weeping willows are planted by the lake. There is a suspension bridge connected to the island which is in the center of the lake. There is a three-kilometer-long road along the lake. The scenery along the way is beautiful and the woods are lush and lingering.
     The lake covers an area of about 20 hectares and is surrounded by mountains on three sides. It used to be a famous scenic spot in Yilan County. In recent years, relevant units have planned and renovated the trail and public facilities around the lake, and the scenic spot has taken on a new look.
     The original suspension bridge connects the road around the lake and the floating island in the center of the lake. Recently, the suspension bridge was demolished by the Dongshan Township Office and rebuilt. The suspension bridge was changed from bright red to bright yellow, which is very eye-catching. Meihua Lake has a pleasant scenery. Standing on the shore of the lake, gazing at the lake surface, there are occasionally a group of mallard ducks swimming on the lake surface. The color of the lake and mountains around the lake reflect each other, which makes people feel refreshing. Many tourists come here to visit.
     There is also a bicycle rental shop near the lake, where you can rent a bicycle, or four wheel bicycle for the family. The whole family can visit the plum blossom lake. The willows on the lakeshore are blowing in the wind. The flora is quite abundant, suitable for family travel. The road around the lake by the lake can also be walked. Residents in the Meihua community often visit Meihua lake for exercise purpose. Visitors can follow the trail to the Sanqing Palace above the Meihua Lake. It has a wide view and you can enjoy the Lanyang view and the night view at night is even better.
 

Phoenix Island-Island of the Soul

     A small island on the surface of Meihua Lake is connected by a suspension bridge. The island is surrounded by wild ginger flowers. Around the island, it can sense the aura and magnetic field of the small island, so that the body and mind can be relaxed.
